Kuantan Sentral Hotel

Location excellent, friendly, helpful n attentive staff, room is not clean, tower worn n old, toilet dirty as shown in photo, lots of holes on wall. Dust all over the room n ironing board spoil. Carpet dusty n aircond filter not clean, however it is still cold.

Great value for money. The location is amazing, right by the river, with a beautiful view. There is a proper pathway for walking for a morning or afternoon stroll. Parking is available at the back of the hotel with 24-hour security. The room was small but had everything we needed. It was clean, well-organized and comfortable. The breakfast was okay, there are tons of food options too within walking distance. There is a cute shop of handicrafts and gifts within walkable distance to the hotel, dont miss it! There is no signboard, but search for Perniagaan Mim Handicraft on Google Map.

A nice experience with my husband. The walls are quite thin though, so you can hear people outside talking and walking around. I got a good deal of about RM120/night, so it was worth it for me. There is a spacious free parking lot behind the hotel. Overall very nice experience. :)

This is personal. Because we are used to staying at higher rated hotels, doesn't mean a lesser rated one is not good. RELATIVE. It fits the bill. No lesser. Loved the rooftop cafe though with the view of the tower. As harsh as some of your opinions might be, it's fine enough for me. Beyond expectation of its rating.

So I just stayed at Hotel Sentral for a short family vacation, and it was also my first time here since 2018! The Family Room we took for our two nights stay was spacious, coming with a queen and a single bed that was ideal for me and my two boys. The toilet also had a big shower area with a welcome hairdryer along with an exposed-style wardrobe and very steady WiFi - even if the noise from the passing vehicles along Jalan Besar can be heard due to thin windows. The hotel also has free parking at its own open space behind the building and overlooking the Kuantan River. And to ensure that non-guests do not park for free, a security guard is around to check vehicles coming in at night. As for food, we had our meals at both the High Street Coffee House (buffet breakfast for the duration) and Rooftop Terrace (first night dinner). The breakfast consisted of the standard Malaysian and Western fare but we quite liked our Rooftop Terrace dinner, which was reasonably priced (at least for KL standards haha) but came with a pretty big portion - along with beautiful views of Kuantan 188 and the river! What I liked about this hotel is the location, that lived up to its name… Hotel Sentral is smack in the center of Kuantan and is only 5-10 minutes drive from most of the major attractions including East Coast Mall and Teluk Cempedak Beach, while also a short 5 minute walk to the Kuantan 188 Tower (which is next door). Definitely a must-return hotel for me!
