a week agoI visited Petrosains Kuantan today (Saturday) with my friends, and we had a really enjoyable time! The place was lively but not overly crowded, which made it comfortable to explore all the exhibits at our own pace. We were especially impressed with how interactive and engaging the displays were. From science experiments to technology exhibits, there was something exciting at every corner. It wasn’t just about looking at things – we got to try them out and learn in a fun, hands-on way. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to explain things or guide us. The environment felt clean, well-maintained, and safe for all ages. It’s definitely a great spot for both students and anyone curious about science. One of the highlights was the oil & gas section – it gave us a better understanding of Malaysia’s energy industry in a creative and simple way. Also, the VR and simulation sections were super cool! If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add a few more sitting areas for people who want to take short breaks in between exploring. Overall, we really enjoyed the visit. It was educational, fun, and a great bonding time with my friends. Highly recommended for a weekend outing in Kuantan!

2 weeks agoA very good place to get smarter with a hands-on approach. But I do advise bringing a sanitizer for every hands-on you do. I caught a very bad cold after coming back from here and it lasted the longest I ever had cold.

a month agoGreat! Review: Petrosains PlaySmart Kuantan I had the chance to visit Petrosains PlaySmart in Kuantan, and it was a surprisingly fun and educational experience. Although it’s smaller than the main Petrosains in KL, it still offers a great variety of interactive exhibits that spark curiosity about science and technology. The centre is well-maintained, clean, and very kid-friendly. I liked how the exhibits were designed to be hands-on and easy to understand, especially for school children. It’s a great place for families or students to explore topics like energy, space, and physics in a fun and interactive way. The staff were friendly and approachable, always ready to help explain the science behind the exhibits. Best of all, admission is free, making it a wonderful choice for an educational outing without spending a lot. Overall, Petrosains PlaySmart Kuantan is a hidden gem in the city — small but impactful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Kuantan and looking for something fun and informative! Rating: 4/5
