a week agoA place where you get the ultimate kuantan city view from. Mind pleasing landscape and cool fresh breeze will make you feel out of this world. I choose to visit there on a weekend at an afternoon yet did not have to wait at all. Let me rate this place in the following categories: 1. Tidiness: People working there keep the place tidy and clean. It is 5/5. 2. Landscape: On one side you see a developing city and on the other side you find a view that is worth a thousand visits. 5/5. 3. Staff: Super friendly and helpful. 5/5. 4. Dining options: 2,one at the ground floor, another at the 2nd floor below the rooftop. It is not allowed to take food on the rooftop unless arranged beforehand. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

a month agoWent to Menara Kuantan recently and it was a nice experience! The view from the top is really cool—you can see the whole city and the river. It’s a chill spot for photos and just taking in the scenery. The place is clean and well-maintained. Worth a visit if you're around Kuantan and want a quick sightseeing stop!

2 months agoWhat started as a random detour turned into a jaw-dropping adventure at Menara 188, the crown jewel of Kuantan! This place serves next-level views—where else can you soak in the city skyline, shimmering sea, lush rainforest, and a winding river all at once? Pure magic from every angle. We soared up to the observatory, braved the skydeck (totally worth the thrill!), and wrapped it all up with a mouthwatering steamboat dinner overlooking a skyline that transforms into a glittering dream by night. The switch from day to night? Unreal. Massive love to Khalisa Azman and her rockstar team for the amazing hospitality. If you’re in Kuantan and NOT visiting Menara 118… you’re seriously missing out. 10/10 experience, would go again in a heartbeat!

4 months agoNote the entrance is facing the river, not facing the street. We initially thought this place is closed on Friday during the prayer time. Ticket for both decks is about 70RM for foreigners and they only accept credit card as payment method. And the ticket is single entry only, so plan your visiting time well if you are going for the evening view. In my opinion, buying ticket for the lower deck is enough, the upper deck is the same view without all the windows, and it can be quite scary because of the strong wind. We spent about 2 hours gazing at fishing boats in the river going in and out with binoculars provided. Very chill and relaxed. You can also see the whole Kuantan city from up there.
